Dreo 311S listings: check the SKU before you buy

Dreo has two U.S. Humidifier 311S product records across two generations. The current 311S listing is supported as Smart 311S (2nd Gen.), model DR-HHM021S; the older “Smart Humidifier HM311S 4L” record is associated with DR-HHM001S. Do not match a manual, cartridge, aroma pad or replacement part by the 311S name alone.

Identify the listing before comparing features

The current page titled “Humidifier 311S” has a separate Dreo product record with two finish variants: White SKU 10-160211-001 and Black SKU 10-160211-002. Its page lists a 4-liter tank, a maximum 40-hour runtime, 100–250 mL/h humidification capacity, target-responsive Auto behavior, RGB lighting customizable in the Dreo app, top filling, an aroma pad and optional cartridge compatibility.

The older Dreo page titled “Smart Humidifier HM311S 4L” has a separate product record and a longer SKU family beginning 10-16001. Its official support entry identifies DR-HHM001S; that support model and its manuals belong to the older listing, not the newer 10-160211 SKU family. Both product pages describe four-liter tanks, but that shared capacity is not proof of the same electronics, cartridge fit or care routine.

What should you use to confirm a fit?

• Read the product label: check the complete model identifier and SKU on the appliance, carton, receipt or retailer page. Keep a photo of the label for support questions.
• Match accessories by the precise listing: a brand accessory page may group product families, but verify that the current SKU is named in the compatibility information before ordering a cartridge or replacement pad.
• Use the exact manual: Dreo support identifies the current model as Smart 311S (2nd Gen.), DR-HHM021S, and links a U.S. manual. The older HM311S / DR-HHM001S documentation remains separate. The sales page does not print the support code, so compare the generation, label and SKU before applying any manual or accessory instructions.
• Compare only stated specifications: the newer listing’s 40-hour maximum is not a setting-specific promise, and it should not be substituted for another page’s runtime claim. Likewise, the listing does not establish a room-area rating or noise level.

Choose by need, not by the suffix

If top filling and four liters are the main requirements, the newer 311S page documents both. If a room-area figure, exact sound rating, selectable humidity target, remote or specific mist technology is essential, compare a model whose exact page and manual state those facts. A missing specification is not evidence that two models are the same; it is a reason to keep looking or ask the manufacturer with the exact product identifier in hand.
